PAT’S BAKED GOODS
Our friend, Patricia Trimble who lives nearby, is a guru of GLUTEN FREE baked goods. She makes an assortment of cookies, waffles, bread and pizza shells. All are highly nutricious, gluten free and made with wholesome organic ingredients.
ALTERNATIVE RUSTIC FOREST PRODUCTS
Gary Rorhbach and his family are longtime neighbors of ours. He and his sons hand make beautiful word furniture and unique crafts. Each piece is created to preserve the integrity of the wood making it a one of a kind work of art.
BASKET CREATIONS BY NATALIE
Our friend and fellow goat farmer, Natalie Smith has been hand weaving baskets and doilies for over 15 years and is a member of the Reading Berks Guild of Craftsmen. Her baskets aren’t just nice to look at, they’re functional, too. She makes many styles and sizes, even a lazy susan.
GOOD BEESWAX ORNAMENTS
Our cousin, Ginny Good, from nearby Lancaster County is a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. Her lovely beeswax ornaments are a traditional PA German craft and have a wonderful natural honey fragrance. They have a high melting point and can be hung safely hung in your windows or kitchen. We love to decorate our Christmas tree with them.
RENEE TROUTMAN’S HONEY
Renee, a local dairy farmer, is also an excellent beekeeper. As former National Bee Queen, she keeps her bees happy and healthy while supplying us with yummy raw honey. MOYER’S ORCHARD
Neighboring farmer and mentor, Elwood Moyer supplies our store with delicious fruit from his orchard. This retired dairy farmer, (he taught both Rodney and Lena how to milk) does all the picking himself with the help of his senior citizen pals. Everyone especially looks forward to autumn when Woody’s old fashioned raw apple cider is made.
BINGAMAN’S DUCK EGGS
Bob Bingaman, who lives nearby, has some unusual backyard livestock…ducks! His ducks graze on grass and are never fed antibiotics or hormones. Bob started raising ducks due to his chicken egg sensitivity. The eggs are available at our store year round.
CHARMING FORGE ALPACAS
Gregg and Jennie Rubright of Applejack Farm raise alpacas and sheep nearby. They raise their livestock without the use of antibiotics or hormones and graze them year round.
