All of the animals on our farm are raised organically and out on pasture. We never give any of them any corn, soy, fermented feed, antibiotics, vaccines or added hormones.
Our laying chickens sleep in a house on wheels so we can move them around the farm throughout the year. The little red hens take care of digging up our vegetable garden and help prepare it for the spring planting as well as head up the insect patrol. We hand collect their beautiful brown eggs twice a day. We also raise broiler chickens a few times a year and sell the meat frozen whole or in parts.
We raise milk fed pigs once a year and usually have them butchered in the fall. Whole and half pigs are available special order at that time. We sell frozen, nitrate free, naturally honey cured hams, smoked sausage, bacon, pork chops, roasts and fresh sausage in our store.
We also sell “rose” veal from our humanely raised milk fed calves. They spend their time outside so their meat is pinker than traditional veal. We offer nitrate free frozen cutlets, chops, cubes and ground veal.
We raise turkeys every year for Thanksgiving. They are also milk fed so their meat is super moist and juicy. We do pre-orders on whole fresh turkeys and then have a few cut into parts and frozen for sale in our store.
We always have chevron (goat meat) in the store, too. Ground, cubes, roasts and chops.
All of the meat animals are butchered by a USDA certified butcher and the cuts are packaged and frozen by him. Contact us with any questions or for more information.
